Often life may look good and yet you may feel something is lacking. My therapy offers an opportunity to work through possible factors underlying a sense of discontent. Improved awareness on the cause of mental health problems leads to a more fulfilling life.

  • I adhere to the idea that everyone is unique. Following “one size does not fit all” I strive to use different interventions attending to the characteristics of each client. My therapy is informed by evidence-based psychotherapies mainly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy.

  • I am particularly interested in anxiety disorders (e.g., panic disorder, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety disorder), depression, difficult emotions such as shame and humiliation, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, and somatic disorders (e.g., migraine and pain).

  • In addition to my clinical work, I am also a lecturer and researcher. I am familiar with different types of research (i.e., qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method) and have supervised undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. I have also published in highly respected psychology journals (one example can be seen here. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0191886922000782). I am available for academic consultancy in the realm of mental health.
